Welcome! Our school is a nurturing environment that inspires each student to thrive academically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and creatively so all students can be empowered to achieve their highest potential.

As a small school in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood in San Francisco serving students from preschool through grade 5, we benefit from small classes, a dedicated staff, and a strong multigenerational community.

Principal Welcomes New Families

Our community welcomes all new families enrolling at our school. We look forward to getting to know you, and are especially excited to have a new group of pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students joining us this year! I am extremely honored to be your principal at Dr. William L. Cobb Elementary, a school for equity in this ever-changing world.
