Our Families

Parents as Partners

We take seriously the role families play in shaping the student experience at Cobb, whether formally as members of the School Site Council and PTA, or informally through our many opportunities for discussion and feedback. Parent volunteers join our community partners in enriching the school through classroom participation, special events, and fundraising.

At Cobb, we’re here for one another. Our Family Liaison ensures that parents and families have the support and tools they need for their children to thrive both in and out of school. Services such as our free weekly farmers market help make life for Cobb families a little bit easier, and community events such as our Harvest Festival provide opportunities for new friendships and fun. Parents, community volunteers, staff, and students, together, create a special place where everyone is truly welcomed and valued.

Parent Teacher Association

Cobb is excited to have a PTA chapter starting with the 2017-18 school year, after transitioning from our long-standing PTO.

Free Farmers Market

In partnership with the SF-Marin Food Bank, we are happy to once again offer our free farmers market every Wednesday afternoon starting September 26. Stop by after school to shop from our seasonal selection of produce as well as pantry staples--all free! If you prefer, you can pick up grocery bag when you pick up your student either after school or from the after-school program.
