Welcome! Our school is a nurturing environment that inspires each student to thrive academically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and creatively so all students can be empowered to achieve their highest potential.

As a small school in the Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood in San Francisco serving students from preschool through grade 5, we benefit from small classes, a dedicated staff, and a strong multigenerational community.

Welcome New Families!

Welcome to Dr. William L. Cobb Elementary School, a school for equity in this ever-changing world. We are especially happy to welcome our new TK and kindergarten families! Families and students are invited to our family work day and new student orientation on Saturday, August 18, from 10am to 2pm (orientation starts at 1pm).
